Quarter in review · Q3 2026
The quarter your evidence got broader, and your builds got cheaper

Three months ago Insights told you about plays and completions and little else, while a good deal of what your learners were actually doing with Nova went unreported. This quarter the reporting caught up with the product, the evidence a learner leaves behind became something an assessor can hear rather than just read, and a qualification's overlapping units stopped costing you three times for one topic.
The focus
Insights now has a place for everything Nova does
The Insights page had grown a table at a time, and the newer parts of the platform had nowhere to appear on it. You could see attempts and completions, but not the coach's teaching sessions and debriefs, not role play rehearsals, not the lessons Nova made for a learner in the moment, not unit badges, check-ins, the confidence lift between a learner's first tap and their latest, or the misconceptions the coach keeps meeting. Each of those now has its place on the page, so when you ask whether the learning is landing you are reading all of it, not the slice that happened to be counted first. It stays group-level: counts, never names, with small groups suppressed as before.
Why it matters: One page now tells you what the whole of a learner's time with Nova is saying, not just the parts that were easiest to count.
Also shipped
- A role play's recording is now assessment evidence. Every voice run keeps the learner's own recording, so an assessor can hear tone, clarity and pacing where a unit's criteria ask for them, with the transcript alongside.
- What several units teach once is built once. Overlapping topics across a qualification's units (hand hygiene, say) are now proposed and built as one shared activity, charged once and counted towards every unit it serves.
- Uploaded documents carry a licence confirmation, kept on the audit log. When a custom programme is built from your documents, the organisation confirms it holds the rights, and that confirmation sits on the audit log.
- Support asks now show the reply, the route and the trail. A ticket records whether the person was answered and what they were told, hands organisation-only fixes to you, and every report the AI closes carries what the triage did; trainers and assessors can now answer too.
- The space in one picture. Switches, brand, unit order, release plan and companions now sit on one space page instead of four tabs, so you can see what a space looks like before you share it.
- Te reo Māori is spoken, on by default for New Zealand organisations. The voices now say te reo properly, so spoken material keeps the language as the source has it; it remains a switch on your branding.
